I definite looks like alot more than reported~ I was at the hostage homecoming parade in NYC back in 1981 at Battery Park NY and it looked about the size of this and that was said to have been over a million.There must be some way of comparing the overhead shots to ones previously counted for events held covering the same area.While so far I have seen estimates between 300-500 thousand I think it was at least 500,000 but probably way much more~! I'd believe nearing a million if they were able to squeeze 3million around Battery Park & this was such a larger area shown from overhead filled with people~!

Based on my experience at the 9/12 march last year...this was close in number...and that was 1.7 million....but we'll never get an accurate number.

Wow~! What a sea of patriots~!!! I bet there were more than 500,000 as estimated~!!
