Hey William! Thanks for telling others about the rally, I appreciate it. We had two candidates that are running in November 2011: Ray Nearhood (Scranton Tea Party VP) is running for Scranton City Controller and Bruce Smallcombe running for Lackawanna County Commissioner.
The turn out was poor, we only had 72 people attend. But that is okay. I will use it as a learning experience, never have a rally on a week day at noon! Next one will be on a saturday.
But we had GREAT SPEAKERS! I was so happy with the information they were able to provide. And we had the Young Republicans from the University of Scranton who were all fired up and excited to get their voices heard. They were all great. I hope they come again!
We could really use as much help as possible! You can make a difference!

And the most exciting news is that we are in the planning stages of putting together a Northeast Regional Tea Party Convention right here in Pa!
Our first annual Tax Day Tea Party Rally will be held on April 15, 2010 at the Lackawanna County Courthouse Square from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Please see our events section for more info, I would greatly appreciate it if you could also forward it to your contacts and invite them as well.
