Scranton Tea Party

Tea Party Patriots of Lackawanna County, PA.

Had such a nice surprise happen to me that I had to share it with everyone.

Today I met with Lee Fessler of the Williamsport Tea Party to plan some upcoming events. He was in the area and we decided to go to the Glider Diner for lunch. We talked about the things all of us Patriots usually talk about...taking our Country back, how we plan on doing that and how we can't wait to vote November 2, 2010 and what we will be doing on November 3rd.

It was a very nice lunch and Lee and some of his members are willing to come to our area and help in our efforts. So as we were finishing up the waitress came over and I asked for our bill. She said "Both of your bills have already been paid for." I said "really...by who?" She said "The gentleman that was sitting at the counter". She pointed to the seat right across from where we were sitting. I asked her if she knew who he was and she said "No, but I did ask for his name". I said "well what was it?" She said "His name is Bill Jones".  I looked at Lee and said "I don't know a Bill Jones...do you?" Lee said "no... I don't know him either".

We both sat there for a moment in amazement of the generosity of a stranger. What a nice thing to do. I can only assume that he overheard our conversation and rewarded us for our work with the tea party. How nice was that?! I can only hope that he reads this note so he knows how much we appreciated his generosity and kindness.

So THANK YOU BILL JONES! Not sure if that is even your real name or not, but either way, I wanted to make sure you knew that we both greatly appreciated the gift you gave us today. I know it made my day to know that someone appreciated our efforts. But also to know that there is just one more patriot out there that is just as concerned about our Country as we are. Thanks again.

That is a really nice story, I wish more people out there were as selfless as Mr. Jones.
Sure sounds as tho the Gent liked what He was overhearing. A "random act of kindness"

Did I just use a liberal phrase? ooopppps
I heard from the son of the man that did this! I am so happy to know that Bill Jones does exist as he named himself and he now has a son that is contemplating running for local office! Can't wait to meet him and his dad, and can't wait to meet the person whose kindness surely was "a random act of kindness".
